Playing every show imaginable, from busking on the streets of Paris to playing to a thousand seat theatre with a 46 piece orchestra in Brazil. He knows how to put on a show and knows how to put an amazing band together.
The musicians he has gathered round him to perform his new body of work have played with the best, from Beck to CW Stoneking, from Archie Roach to Paul Kelly.
Gallie's shows are an emotional experience, with driving groves, sing along melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
Gallie’s latest album was recorded in Nashville Tennessee with grammy award winning producer Erick Jaskowiak. Erick gathered together an impressive band to record this album- Robert plants bassist, Jack Whites violinist, Hoziers pianist, Emmylou Harris’ drummer, John Primes mandolinist.
Gallie’s latest work follows on from his critically acclaimed album ‘The Occoquan River’. Having played last years (2023) Port Fairy Folk Festival to standing ovations, showcasing the new songs, Gallie and the band are raring to get on the road to share this new body of work.
